You will be expected to assist in the smooth running of the lunchtime service and maintain hygienic conditions in the kitchen and undertake associated kitchen duties, e.g.
- Washing up
- Setting up and clearing away equipment and tables
- Cleaning of kitchen, its surrounds and equipment
- Assisting in the preparation of high quality and varied meals for young people
You will work as part of a team and be able to work in accordance with agreed schedules, comply with Food and Health and Safety Regulations, and work to a high standard.
There are no formal qualifications required for this post; however, you will be required to undertake training in basic food hygiene and attend training courses relevant to this post.
