Salary: £34,866 - £36,924 fte per annum (pro-rata for part-time, £21,202 - £22,453) – SS5

Job type: 1-year fixed term, full-time/part-time (22.5 hours per week)

The Role:

Hired provides careers, employability, and placement services to our students. We currently have a vacancy for an Employability Tutor supporting FE courses, specifically with the Departments of Engineering and Sustainable Construction.

You will:

  • Organise placements
  • Mentor students on placement
  • Provide CV assistance
  • Maintain databases
  • Support with open days
  • Effectively promote the University through a variety of mediums
  • Develop strong links with UCB Schools and Departments regarding the service
  • Engage directly with employers to source and develop partnership and placement opportunities

You will have excellent communication and organisation skills, the ability to work with a diverse range of clients, and proficiency in administration and the use of IT.

Minimum Requirements:

To be successful in this application, you will possess a minimum level 3 qualification. Flexibility and a willingness to conduct placement visits off-site as required are essential.
