About the Role
Our SENDSTART Caseworkers are responsible for overseeing and actively engaging in the development of high quality and timely Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). You will work closely with families, schools and a range of service providers, including education, health, social care and voluntary sectors, ensuring that the parents/carers, children or young people (CYP) are included in the assessment and annual review process and their views are accurately recorded.
About the Candidate
The successful candidates will have experience of working with children or young people with special educational needs and disabilities and experience of leading multiagency meetings. You will be required to liaise with a wide range of people and partner organisations and so excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative way are essential.
