Streatham & Clapham High School (SCHS) is looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Assistant Caretaker to support the day-to-day running of our Prep and Senior School sites. You will assist the Premises team with the day-to-day running of the sites, which includes general maintenance, property and grounds safety, security, and supervision of our cleaning staff. In addition to this, you will also be required to drive the school minibuses on occasion, so a D1 driving qualification would be beneficial. You will work on a rota system, ensuring that the premises are attended to throughout the day and during out-of-hours lettings. You will be required to work at least two weekends a month and will carry out your duties at both the Senior School and the Prep School as needed. You will be a friendly, positive and personable individual, who possesses experience of minibus driving and working with young people. Knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements is essential, along with excellent teamwork skills.
