Our client is looking for several experienced Reach Truck Drivers who are seeking a great opportunity. The perfect candidate for a Reach Truck Driver will have experience working within a warehouse environment, looking to build an ongoing career with a reputable company. Training is provided from day 1 to ensure you can integrate into the environment. We do accept Reach Truck Drivers with previous in-house certificates, as an assessment will be required. The warehouse has a very warm feel, and you can sense the togetherness of the whole team. Support is available whenever needed from management, making this a great place to work, where all colleagues are working collaboratively to achieve the same goal.

Key Duties and Accountabilities
- Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including vans and flatbed trucks, to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays.
- Ensure the application of the business “key standards” are maintained.
- Ensure productivity targets are met.
- Assist with stock counts and movements.
- Assist as required within all operational work areas.
- Ensure the warehouse and loading areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times to comply with Company Policy and Health & Safety Regulations.
- General Housekeeping including sweeping/cleaning up the warehouse.
- Promote excellent working standards complying with the company BRCGS guidelines.
- Undertake any other tasks as directed by a member of the management team.
Key Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience as a REACH DRIVER, preferably in a commercial or warehouse setting - you will be required to be assessed.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic vehicle maintenance.
- Familiarity with various types of vehicles, such as vans and flatbed trucks.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems.
- Basic understanding of Maths and English.
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative working in a busy environment.
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team to deliver results.
