Shaw healthcare is looking for a Residential Team Leader to join the team at Froome Bank in Bromyard. You will join a team that is fully committed to making a difference in the lives of those we provide care for. Our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care to our service users, providing the same standard of care that we would expect our own family members to receive. You will be using the latest care technology that enables you to spend more time with the service users you care for. Froome Bank has an excellent reputation as a highly valued provider of care.
As a Team Leader, you’ll need previous experience working with older people in residential care. You will need to be flexible, patient, caring, organized, and great with people. You will have strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and will have completed or be working towards your QCF 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building strong relationships with all those around you
- Ensuring family and friends feel welcomed
- Keeping healthcare professionals well-informed
- Updating your Line Manager on residents’ needs and progress
As a team player, you can easily follow guidelines and policies, and you will need good written skills to write up care plans.
We will provide you with full training, including our leadership programme, which can support your development and provide opportunities for progression within Shaw.
Working Hours: Bank 0hr contract. As/when required.
