The role of Micah Social Justice Business Support Manager is to oversee the operational activity of Micah Liverpool to meet its objectives:
- Providing food and other household items.
- Providing advice and support to overcome financial problems and maximise income, including developing Recruitability programmes to assist individuals in contributing productively to society.
- Raising public awareness of issues relating to poverty and social exclusion.
- Signposting to relevant information and advisory services.
- Preserving and protecting the physical and mental health of individuals, families, and the wider community.
It’s essential to remain enthusiastic and professional, consistently delivering a high standard of customer service. Approach tasks with a positive, "can do" attitude, seeking efficient and effective ways of working. Maintain a tidy workspace to create a welcoming environment for colleagues and visitors. Provide weekly, monthly, and annual footfall figures. Oversee impact assessment of projects. Complete questionnaires and feedback forms with foodbank users. Record personal details of foodbank users. Update and maintain the foodbank database.
- Finance and Administration: Manage finances and bookkeeping. Transfer paper-based information to databases. Ensure Micah’s finance systems operate efficiently.
- Communications: Manage and maintain the website. Assist with developing an effective communications strategy (website, social media, and promotional content). Ensure the values of Micah are implemented across all areas.
- Food Procurement: Assist Driver in collecting and delivering donations to Micah Liverpool Foodbank.
