2 Care Assistants required to support a young woman who lives in Burnopfield £11.44 per hr

We are looking for 2 Personal Care Assistants to support a young woman with multiple physical disabilities who is currently virtually bed bound. The role involves assisting her with day-to-day activities, including:

• Personal care
• Housework, including bed linen changing and laundry
• Accompanying her to social outings such as going for coffee/shopping
• Preparing simple meals

Hours/Wage: 18.5 hours per week over 7 days, split between the 2 carers. This can be discussed at interview and requires some flexibility. £11.44 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily personal care and assistance with hygiene
• Help with getting dressed
• Light housework including laundry and maintaining cleanliness in the toilet and bathroom areas
• Engaging in social interaction activities

Other Information:

• Must be able to drive and have own car
• References required
• The successful candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check prior to commencement
