Our client, a Food Manufacturing business based in Bolton is looking for a Finance Graduate to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Financial Controller you will gain exposure to the full accounting process, enabling you to attain a very varied understanding.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, self-starter to gain great exposure and progression in a finance team.
Some of the duties are as follows:
- Assist in the preparation of Site overheads files
- Assist with the preparation of site overhead accrual & prepayments.
- Preparation & posting of weekly / periodic journals
- Reconciliation of site balance sheet control accounts in line with period end timetable
- Responsibility for banking staff shop takings and reconciling petty cash
- Analyse & process weekly warehousing, picking and distribution invoices (predominantly Warrens).
- Preparation & update of weekly logistics accruals file
