An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Care Assistant to work in an exceptional care home based in the Hitchin, Hertfordshire area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers. This care home provides life-enhancing residential and dementia care for older people based in the area.
To be considered for this position, you must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care.
Key Duties:- Lead and inspire a team of committed care assistants to provide the highest quality of care to our residents enabling them to live later life well.
- Support our residents with personal care needs and help them to take part in a wide range of activities that support their health and wellbeing.
- Administer medication and maintain clear and accurate records.
- Passionate about caring for older people.
- Previous care experience.
- Experience leading, coaching, and motivating a team to deliver high-quality care.
- Kind, warm, and caring nature; able to work well as part of a team and use your own initiative.
- Strong patience, communication, and listening skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Able to lead by example, form positive relationships, and energize colleagues to deliver exceptional care.
The successful Senior Care Assistant will receive an excellent salary of GBP 13.92 per hour, totaling an annual salary of GBP 23,886.72. We currently have vacancies for both days and night shifts available.
