Position: Electrical Project Engineer Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 Location: St Albans Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30am- 16:00pm Proactive are currently recruiting for multiple experienced Electrical Project Engineer begin work for a leading engineering company based in St Albans. This is an exciting opportunity working for a world leader in the design, manufacture, assembly and distribution of high quality switchgear solutions. The ideal candidate should be experienced in the electrical design of LV switchgear and package sub-stations. These can typically incorporate such items as protection relays and power factor correction equipment. Some experience would also be beneficial in the electrical design of control and monitoring systems together with electrical schematic diagrams. Ability to use AutoCAD is desirable. Knowledge of LV switchgear, which is supplied by the Company as part of a contract, would be an advantage. The main roles with this position include (but are not limited to) the following: Controlling projects from receipt of contract to installation and commissioning. Responsibility for all commercial and technical aspects of projects. Liaise with clients and their representatives. Attend site meetings with clients and their representatives.
