We are seeking an experienced Children’s Social Worker who is confident in completing a range of assessments of children and their families, including Child and Family Assessments, Parenting Assessments, and Sibling Assessments. The candidate will manage various cases, including Child in Need, Child Protection, Child in Care, and cases in legal proceedings, both Public and Private Law.

The ideal candidate should have experience in undertaking Joint / Single Agency Children Act 1989 Section 47 assessments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a working knowledge of Signs of Safety.

While the candidate will be supported and supervised by an experienced, permanent Practice Supervisor, they are expected to work independently and confidently make decisions in the best interests of children and families.

The candidate will lead multi-agency plans to support children and families and will benefit from collaborating with Lincolnshire\’s strong Early Help / Future 4 Me colleagues.

Participation in a weekly duty rota on a 4-week rotation is required. During these weeks, the candidate must be office-based for all 5 days. In the other three weeks, flexible work/home arrangements are available, with the expectation of being in the office 3 days a week and working from home the other 2 days.
