The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 Β£ per year.
We want to add someone to our team at the Glastonbury (Somerset) depot as an HGV Class 1 Driver. This position has become available due to an expanded business. This position involves the safe delivery of our customers' products to all areas of the UK.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The truck and trailer must be roadworthy at all times whilst on the road.
- Pre-use checks must be completed as required and defects reported accordingly.
- Check the quantity and condition of all pallets and ensure they are secure at all times.
- Dispatch and complete trunking and multi-drop deliveries in accordance with legislation, including the regulations on drivers' working hours.
- Verify the deliveries with clients to ensure an amicable and helpful experience.
- Collect the necessary signatures and documents before heading back to the hub.
Who weβre looking for:
- Someone with a C+E driving licence, a valid DigiTacho, and CPC.
- Previous Class 1 driving experience.
- Someone who can lift up to 18kg.
- Must be able to communicate with other team members in English.
