Tormead School is based in the heart of Guildford, Surrey. We are now entering our fourth year of our rowing programme. We have rowing available to all pupils in years 7 to 13. We row out of the Weybridge Ladies Amateur Rowing Club every weekday afternoon and Saturday and Sundays in both curriculum and extra-curriculum sessions.
We are looking to hire session coaches interested in supporting and developing rowing at Tormead, particularly with our weekend programme, who will:
- Coach all year groups from Year 7 through to Year 13 during term time as directed by the Head of Rowing where needed.
- Coach in a fun and dynamic way.
- Feel free to question and advance current thinking on how to teach rowing.
