As a Tear Down Vehicle Technician, you will focus on full vehicle disassembly with a strong mechanical emphasis. You will be responsible for meticulously taking apart every component, ensuring each piece is handled with care and accuracy. Key Responsibilities:
- Complete Vehicle Disassembly: Perform full strip-downs of vehicles with a focus on mechanical components, ensuring precision and accuracy in every task.
- Parts Disassembly: Remove and safely handle all vehicle parts, including intricate components, wiring, and assemblies, while documenting and organising parts for easy reassembly.
- Oil and Fuel Draining: Safely drain engine oil, fuel, and other fluids as part of the disassembly process, following appropriate environmental and safety guidelines.
- Brake System Disassembly: Take apart brake systems, including pads, rotors, and other components, with precision and an understanding of braking mechanisms.
- Component Handling: Handle various vehicle components with attention to detail, ensuring no damage to parts and adherence to safety protocols throughout the process.
- Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a clean and organised workspace that minimises risk and prevents hazards.
