Scheduled Hours: Monday to Friday with Saturdays available
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 depending on experience (£11.97 – £13.68 per/hour). Overtime also available.
At JamVans, we are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for moving household and office furniture and other items to new premises or into storage. You will also handle exhibition moves and retail deliveries, meaning no two jobs are the same.
A typical day involves:
- Checking with the client which items are to be moved.
- Taking apart large items of furniture for packing and removal.
- Packing items, loading them into the vehicle, and securing them safely.
- Driving to the new location, unloading belongings, and placing them where the client wants them.
Skills and Qualifications:

- No academic qualifications are essential, but you need to have the following qualities, and we will teach you the rest:
- An honest and responsible attitude to other people’s property.
- A friendly manner and good communication skills.
- The ability to work well within a team.

- The ability to work out the most effective way to load items.
- Good time-keeping.
- Full UK driving licence and excellent driving skills.
