Exercise Instructor

We are currently seeking an Exercise Instructor to work with the Wirral Falls Prevention Service which is part of Medequip Assistive Technology Limited, an independent provider commissioned by Wirral Public Health.

The service consists of a welcoming and friendly community based multi-disciplinary team of nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists providing falls prevention interventions to people aged 60+.

About the Role

The role of an Exercise Instructor is to support the falls prevention programme with the delivery of PSI strength and balance exercise programmes within community venues across the Wirral. There will also be a requirement to visit clients within their own homes to teach home exercise programmes to improve their strength and confidence and independence in their daily activities.

About You

Previous experience/ qualification in delivering exercise programmes (Diploma level 2/ 3 or equivalent ) is required.
