Access Talent Group are recruiting for a planning and development consultancy, who are looking for a Highways Technician. You would be working for a modern, forward-thinking consultancy, partly reflected by the average age of the team, but more importantly, by mindset. The role:
- Ensuring the health and safety needs and wellbeing of customers and employees are fully considered and accounted for throughout the planning and delivery of each service activity.
- Supporting the identification and evaluation of asset specific needs in order to develop future maintenance, renewals and improvement solutions.
- To support the development of asset renewals and improvement plans, in line with agreed methodologies and prioritisation criteria.
- Providing support in the identification and management of asset studies and survey works.
- To input into the development of early solutions for improvements and/or renewals, including the compiling of relevant documents, evidence and options for value management.
- Supporting the development of technical briefs provided to the design and construction contractor for improvement and renewals work.
- Good understanding of the function of Highways England and the importance of the Strategic Road Network.
- Good personal impact and the ability to inspire confidence and positive action.
Salary: Β£40,000 to Β£50,000 Per Annum
