Position:

  • Be proficient in using the current HRIS, SharePoint and DocuSign to administer People administration.
  • Manage all new starter documentation including Right to Work checks, contract administration, obtaining references, identity and DBS checking, academic record checks, benefit enrolment (Simply Health and Love Electric), etc.
  • Ensure all personnel records are accurate and kept up to date including assessment, recruitment, absence, training, qualifications, holiday, sickness, business driving records etc.
  • Assist Learning and Development Manager in providing induction programme and follow ups for all new starters.
  • Deal with email correspondence and queries and manage the generic queries inbox.
  • Manage the monthly company award scheme.
  • Ensure all Job Profiles are kept up to date for all roles.
  • Complete Maternity Risk Assessments and Exit Interviews as required.
  • Assist with the Wellbeing programme and update the Wellbeing SharePoint page.
  • Assist the Recruitment Advisor when required in co-ordinating recruitment including online candidate sourcing, careers page management, agency liaison, CV management.
  • Undertake People Projects as and when required.
  • Assist with administration of yearly company PDR’s as required.
  • Contribute towards departmental Objectives and KPI’s.
  • Assist when required in drafting of new policies and procedures.
  • Formulate and maintain up to date HR procedures, health and safety manual.
  • Participate in regular training/learning activities to maintain and develop skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to all Stark policies, procedures and working practices.
  • Ensure the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by what you do; use work equipment provided safely and co-operate with managers to provide safe systems of work.
  • Any other reasonable duties as required.

Requirements:

  • HR Administration experience, CIPD certificate in Human Resources Practice – Level 3 already achieved or working towards.
  • An interest in Employment law.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Keep up to date with advances in business area, new methods and ways of working.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Confident and accurate use of departmental computer systems/databases.
