Our Client is a dynamic, innovative, and established Fresh Food business, currently achieving high levels of sustained growth across their category. We currently offer an exciting opportunity to join the technical team as Technical Compliance Manager.
Reporting to the Head of Technical, the successful Technical Compliance Manager will ensure compliance to Legal, Food Safety, and Customer requirements to include:
- Ensuring adherence to all food safety standards and regulations, including HACCP, BRCGS, and Red Tractor.
- Managing all administrative activities related to technical compliance, including maintaining HACCP and traceability documentation.
- Managing the internal audit calendar and function for the factory and assure the effectiveness of the corrective and preventative action process.
- Providing technical support and expertise across the organization, addressing food safety issues and driving compliance initiatives.
- Investigating food safety issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Reporting results from sampling, GMP and non-conformances to internal management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Technical Compliance position, within Fresh Produce / Food environments.
- Knowledge of and confident to work to & achieve BRC standards and Red Tractor standards.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work at all levels.
- Driven, energetic, and passionate about achieving results.
- Driving Licence is essential due to travel across sites.
Salary: up to £36k dependent on experience
Hours: Monday – Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm, but flexibility required
Location: North Kent / Greater London area
