We’re looking for a Multi Skilled Electrician to join a team in Ashington on a permanent basis. This role is full time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Salary: £37,292 per annum, OTE circa £43,000 per annum (including standby payments).
About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Electrician to join a Property Maintenance and Construction Department. As a Multi Skilled Electrician you will be responsible for undertaking all electrical repairs and associated multi skilled repairs to both domestic and commercial properties to a high-quality standard whilst delivering excellent customer service.
About You: To be successful in this role you will have experience of working within a domestic and commercial property maintenance and target driven environment. You will have excellent customer service skills in the delivery of your work, conversing with a wide range of people in the delivery of a first-class repairs service. For the technical bit, you will have a sound working knowledge of your trade discipline and exhibit sound knowledge of the wider building construction sector, understanding components, materials, building trades and applicable regulations. It is therefore essential that you hold an NVQ/City & Guilds Certificate qualifying you as an Electrician together with the 18th Edition, Testing & Inspection and a full driving licence.
The Benefits: Where required to be on call, a retainer of £30 per day is paid, together with overtime pay if called out. 36 days annual leave (including bank holidays). Company van & fuel card.
