Summary
The Knowledge Management (KM) Change Manager works closely with key stakeholders to lead the design, development, and delivery of change management initiatives to support the adoption of KM solutions.
About The Role
Location: Ireland, Hybrid and UK, remote
Job Purpose: The KM Change Manager leads change management initiatives for knowledge management solutions, focusing on creating, sharing, and effectively using organizational knowledge. The role involves influencing and communicating with stakeholders at all levels to ensure successful adoption and engagement, supporting strategic initiatives like deploying GenAI solutions and business transformations.
Major Accountabilities
Stakeholder management
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior colleagues.
- Strategically manage stakeholder relationships by identifying, prioritizing, understanding, and aligning stakeholders; proactively manage conflicts; influence positively.
- Understand and operate within the company\’s culture, fostering collaboration and creating internal partnerships.
Change management
- Lead change management and communication efforts with stakeholders and vendors to ensure awareness and adoption of KM solutions, developing strategies and deliverables like training and communication materials.
- Use storytelling, strategic thinking, and data insights to influence behaviors and measure KPIs related to change adoption.
- Develop Communities of Practice to promote a KM culture and stay updated on industry best practices.
Project ownership
- Manage ambiguity, take ownership of projects, and proactively focus on strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement.
- Plan, organize, and ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables, tracking progress and managing risks.
Impact on the Organization
Responsible for delivering KM solutions from Business Solutions International (BSI).
Ideal Background
Education (minimum/desirable)
Bachelor’s in Organizational Development, HR, Communications, or related; Master’s and Change Management certification are pluses.
Languages
- Native or near-native English (spoken and written).
- Additional languages are a plus.
Experience
- 5+ years leading change management in KM or consulting contexts, including strategy development and execution.
- Strong communication skills, stakeholder management, and experience in multinational environments.
- Desirable: graphic design, video editing, and emerging KM tools knowledge.
