We are looking for a highly self-motivated and flexible individual with a positive approach to work on the ‘First 1000 Days’ project, a transformational programme of work to improve the long-term development and life chances of children born and their parents or caregivers in the heart of Leeds. This programme has differing workstreams that represent a holistic approach to the crucial first 1000 days of a child’s life. We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Support Officer to assist in the successful execution of the My First 1000 days project, providing administrative, logistical, and coordination support, working closely to support the Project Manager and the wider project team. The role is a 21-hour working week, with Mondays expected to be a core working day (a minimum of 5 hours), with duties undertaken on campus.We will consider flexible working arrangements for the remainder of the working week and hours. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.The role holder will play a pivotal role in supporting the project and supporting a project manager or PO in implementing an agile way of working and helping identify opportunities for process or system improvements.
