Working closely with their clients to become their Trusted Advisor, our client has a first-class reputation for what they deliver. "Professional, knowledgeable, proactive but above all approachable" is how their clients view them. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to the team. This is a varied role to primarily include bookkeeping and VAT work for clients as well as accounts and Tax Return preparation for a varied portfolio of sole traders, partnerships, and small limited companies.

- Personal and Corporation tax computations
- Tax Returns - Self Assessment and Company
THE CANDIDATE:
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience gained in an accountancy practice
- Strong bookkeeping and accounts preparation skills
- Working knowledge of preparing Tax Returns
- Good IT skills which must include Excel and Word and either SAGE, QuickBooks, or Xero
- AAT qualification or proven experience in a similar role
