A leading structural steel manufacturer is seeking an experienced NDT Inspector to join its night shift team in Thirsk. Operating across multiple sites, the company delivers complex, high-quality steelwork for commercial, industrial, and public infrastructure projects across the UK and Europe, maintaining a strong reputation in the fabrication industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Visual Inspection (CSWIP 3.0), Magnetic Particle Inspection (PCN MPI Level 2), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT PCN 3.1/3.2) to recognised standards.
- Evaluate welded components for compliance with specifications and regulatory standards.
- Record and interpret NDT results accurately, producing detailed reports.
- Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective measures.
- Work alongside Quality, Welding, and Production teams to ensure fabrication quality and safety compliance.
Requirements
- CSWIP 3.0 certified
- PCN Level 2 - Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI / MT) & Ultrasonic (UT).
- Proven NDT experience in Heavy Manufacturing.
Location: Thirsk
Permanent Night Shift
Shift pattern: 19:10 - 06:40, Monday to Thursday
Salary: £46.5k per annum + premium shift allowance
