We are currently seeking experienced and reliable HGV2 or 7.5t Drivers to join our team on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading companies and gain valuable experience in the transport sector.
Working Hours: 07:30 – 17:30
PAYE Rates:
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver palletised goods to other businesses or residential clients.
- Safely operate HGV2 or 7.5t vehicles according to company and legal guidelines.
- Complete deliveries and collections as scheduled and/or requested.
- Ensure all goods are transported safely and securely.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the logistics team and customers.
Requirements:
- Valid C1, C and/or C+E categories and clean driving record (no DR, IN endorsements).
- Valid CPC.
- Valid Tacho Card.
- Newly passed drivers are welcome!
- Proven experience in a similar role desired.
- Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
