We are currently recruiting for a Weighbridge Operator to join a well-established and busy site on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, accuracy, and a proactive attitude to support vital site operations.
Please note: Due to the rural location, a full UK driving licence and your own transport are essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Accurately weigh and record all incoming and outgoing vehicles.
- Maintain vehicle movement records using CRM systems and manual logs.
- Issue and collect load documentation efficiently.
- Coordinate on-site traffic and manage vehicle flow.
- Assist with stock checks and reporting.
- Conduct quality control checks on all goods entering and exiting the site.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
- Comfortable working in a busy, outdoor environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Confident using IT systems (training provided).
