Fire and Security Engineer £30k-£35k basic Company Introduction My client is a leading UK owned security and fire systems specialist based in South Yorkshire. My client provides a broad range of stand-alone or integrated technology solutions for security, safety, asset protection, building management and associated applications. Personal Specification Job Title: Fire & Security Systems Engineer Location: Ideally located between South/West Yorkshire Duties Include: Ability to undertake small works and responding to reactive call-outs within contractual response times, fault finding and first fix resolution. Undertake preventative maintenance activity. Out of hours technical support and call-out where required. Experience Required: Security Applications At least 5 years relevant experience with IP and analogue CCTV systems, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems. Suitably experience of IP CCTV networks and recording platforms such as the likes of Avigilon, Indigo Vision, Synectics, Axis and Bosch, as well as broad product knowledge of Access Control from standard industry product such as Paxton and Winpak to more enterprise and single platform solutions such as CEM, Kantech and C-Cure. Knowledge of basic industry standard for Intruder Alarms Fire Systems Working on fire systems that are part of integrated solutions. Ideally have at least 5 years’ experience working with analogue and addressable network systems, including graphics. Candidates will be ideally fully Gent trained however, formal training will be provided for the successful candidate that has proven experience with Notifier/Advanced and Morley systems. Ideally have some commissioning experience and willing to further enhance these skills.
