Vickerstock is excited to partner with our dynamic agri-food client in their search for a Quality Systems Manager at their site in Dungannon. The successful candidate will have full responsibility for updating and maintaining the Quality Management System.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Update and maintain the Quality Management System and Procedures Manual in line with BRCGS requirements and customer codes of Practice.
- Effectively manage the Quality System, including HACCP, TACCP, VACCP, and RSPO.
- Complete risk assessments as required for the QMS.
- Maintain the Internal Audit System schedule and coordinate the closure of Non-Conformance Forms (NCFs) within the agreed timeframe.
- Address any NCFs related to the QMS.
- Manage and coordinate the Customer Complaints system on site, ensuring all complaints are resolved promptly.
- Maintain document control for the QMS.
- Close out customer audits and queries.
- Prepare weekly KPIs for management meetings.
- Be an active member of the Technical Team and a key participant in coordinating customer audits.
- Set up reporting and trending systems for internal NCFs, supplier NCFs, customer complaints, root cause analysis, etc.
- Coordinate monthly quality meetings, HACCP meetings, and annual HACCP and AGM meetings; record minutes and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
- Perform any other duties as requested by the Team Manager.
What you will need to succeed:
- At least 3 years of proven experience in a similar role, working successfully with other departments.
- A track record of driving standards to meet BRCGS and major retailer standards.
- Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements, BRCGS, and customer standards, especially those of major retailers.
