We are seeking a Technical Services Assistant to join our team at Domino, a global leader in industrial coding and marking equipment. As part of our Technical Services team, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient operation of all our equipment. Whether it’s assisting with application engineering, technical support, maintaining inventory, or helping customers with product demos, this is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in the industrial tech sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the service team across all functions, including project engineering, technical support, installations, and field service.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of Domino printers for installations, service, and upgrades.
  • Help configure and test equipment before dispatch or deployment.
  • Provide both on-site and remote service support (under supervision).
  • Maintain accurate service logs, reports, and records, ensuring compliance with Domino service protocols.
  • Handle customer queries, offering basic technical support and directing them to the relevant engineers when needed.
  • Manage inventory, parts stock, and spares replenishment.
  • Assist with packaging, dispatch, and return of printers and spare parts.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment in line with Domino’s standards.
  • Collaborate with sales and project teams to manage customer trials and samples.
  • Demonstrate product expertise during customer demos, displaying the advantages of Domino’s solutions.
  • Listen to customer requirements, ensuring we meet their needs with flexibility and efficiency.
  • Take responsibility for managing stock transactions and ensuring physical stock control.
  • Proactively manage aging stock and ensure timely upgrades and part consolidation.
  • Maintain stock levels below agreed targets through effective stock rotation.
