UBY UK Limited – Operations Manager

Company Overview:

UBY UK Limited is a monitoring technology company that utilises innovative software and onsite sensor hardware to provide our clients with decision-critical information in real-time. This enables more efficient, sustainable, and safer operations. We are expanding in the UK market and are seeking an Operations Manager to join our team, offering solutions that address challenges in Instrumentation & Monitoring (I&M), environmental, productivity, health, safety, and sustainability for construction stakeholders and infrastructure managers.

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in instrumentation and monitoring systems, including manual surveying methods
  • Strong project management experience, including contract administration, staff management and development, and cost control
  • Ability to work closely with the sales team and clients to provide technical and operational guidance and support
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team
  • Robust approach to work under pressure, prioritising workloads, and meeting deadlines
  • Structured planning skills with solid problem-solving abilities
  • Strong leadership skills with an emphasis on safety

Job Scope:

With a growing client base comprising main contractors and consultants, your focus will be on managing and delivering our full range of structural, geotechnical, environmental, and geolocation monitoring solutions.

  • Responsible for the successful execution and delivery of key projects to clients
  • Developing project programmes and strategies
  • Managing project staff and fostering a positive team culture
  • Communicating effectively with clients
  • Attending client and site meetings
  • Coordinating with other project managers, managers, and sub-contractors
  • Ensuring compliance with company standards and functionality
