Contract: Full Time, Permanent Location: RAF Alconbury/Molesworth (Travel to other locations as far as London will be required) Working Hours: 40hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:00AM-4:30PM) Salary: Up to £40,000 (dependent on experience) Here at VIVO are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team on the USVF contract. You will be undertaking primarily reactive, commercial and domestic works to buildings on multiple sites, including RAF Molesworth, RAF Blenheim Crescent and soon to be a new location within Heathrow Airport. We are looking for someone who enjoys variety in their workload and who wants to lend a hand to a variety of trades and skills, but with a primary background in electrical. You will be assigned work tasks via a tablet, where you will self-schedule your tasks throughout the month, whilst also attending reactive maintenance works when needed. You will be undertaking tasks such as emergency lighting checks and any subsequent repairs, distribution board checks, lighting system upgrades, PAT testing and fault finding and repairs on electrical components of heating systems. You will also be attending breakdowns on general power/lighting circuits. There are many opportunities within this role for professional development, including online training and other qualifications available if desired. What you’ll need for this role First and foremost, this role is a mobile position and will include driving a company vehicle, therefore it is essential that you are comfortable with travelling and hold a full and valid UK driving licence. You will be adept at working within a team and independently. It is essential that you hold a 18th edition qualification, along with C&G 2357 in Electrical Installation/Maintenance. Experience working on Heating Systems, AHU’s and AC units advantageous as you will be working within a multi skilled team. It is also ideal that you hold PASMA, IPAF AND BMS experience. You will need good IT skills, as you will be using laptops, tablets, and other devices as part of your work. It is also important you have good communication skills as will be communicating with customers and clients. You will also need to be able to work within a team and alone if necessary. You must be able to pass SC Clearance to be considered for this role.
