Accountability: Deputy Head of Retail and Head of Retail
Location: Various across Teesside – Acklam, Coulby Newham, Great Ayton, Guisborough, Ingleby Barwick, Linthorpe, Marske, Norton, Redcar, Saltburn, Skelton, Stokesley, Thornaby and Yarm
Time Commitment: Our shops are generally open from 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday. Time commitment and availability can be discussed and agreed with the Shop Manager. We ask that volunteers commit to a minimum of 3 hours per week where possible.
DBS Check needed? No
Age Requirements: From 14 years old plus
Tasks:
- Preparing donated items for sale
- Using a clothes steamer to ensure clothes look their best
- Attaching labels and tags to donated items for easy browsing by customers
- Pricing donations
- Identifying unsaleable donations for recycling
- Keeping the stock room organized and tidy
