We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Administrator to join the growing team of our client based in Stockton. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will support the commercial department with various administrative tasks, contributing to the smooth running of the business and the successful delivery of projects. You will work closely with the Quantity Surveyors, Estimators, and Finance team in a varied role. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the commercial and project management teams. Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, quotations, and tenders. Maintain and update project documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices. Monitor project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring accurate records. Liaise with suppliers, and clients as required. Prepare and process sub-contractor payments and manage records of variations and additional works. Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and ensure follow-up actions are completed. Assist with payroll weekly payroll. Manage the filing system for contracts, specifications, and other commercial documentation. Assist with reporting and project cost analysis. Requirements: Strong organisational and administrative skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in data management. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally in construction, housebuilding, or joinery (not essential but preferred). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
