Robert Half are exclusively partnered with a market leading organisation in South Cambridgeshire who are looking to recruit a new Financial Controller/Head of Finance. This position has arisen as a result of a restructure in the business ownership and will now be taking on further responsibilities within the SME group of companies. To be successful in this role you will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and be able to demonstrate an ability to take on new skills and processes quickly. The role will report directly to the Managing Director and hold responsibility for 3 direct reports. Key responsibilities: Preparation of monthly management accounts using local accounting systems and Microsoft Excel for 2 operating subsidiaries. Present the financials to the CEO and COO Preparation of a Quarterly Finance report for two subsidiaries Preparation of quarterly VAT returns for 1 of the subsidiaries and coordinate with an external consultant on the Group Vat submission. Preparation of payroll returns and other statutory returns for 2 entities. Preparation and review of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and monthly cashflow forecasts and discuss with relevant managers on monthly basis.
