Compliance Officer Manchester £12.99 per hour Full-time (37 hours), Temporary (until the end of March 2025) The Role: We are recruiting for a Compliance Officer to join a support organisation based in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong attention to detail and experience in ensuring contractual compliance and managing financial and performance data. You will play a critical role in maintaining robust systems and processes, ensuring accurate claims and audit trails, and supporting project delivery teams in meeting funder and contractual requirements. Duties: Evaluate and verify claims and supporting evidence to ensure compliance with funder regulations. Manage and maintain project documentation and audit trails to a high standard. Support project delivery teams with claims and compliance issues, providing guidance and ensuring efficient processes. Investigate and resolve queries related to expenditure, procurement, and eligibility. Prepare for funder audits, ensuring that all documentation is comprehensive and compliant. Maintain and update data management systems for accurate reporting and performance analysis. Undertake administrative tasks to support contract management and compliance processes. Required Skills: Relevant degree, professional qualification, or equivalent business experience. High level of numeracy and attention to detail. Proficiency in Excel and confidence in handling financial/accounting information. Strong organisational and administrative skills. Experience in processing claims and managing compliance with public funding contracts. Ability to understand and manipulate complex data sets accurately and effectively. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Self-starter with the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
