Description
We are currently recruiting for a Weighbridge Operative to join the team at Daviot Quarry. The successful candidate will effectively carry out all duties associated with the efficient operation of the weighbridge.

- Control the entry to site of all customers, lorries and visitors
- Weighing in and out of materials and recording all necessary information for invoicing
- Directing goods inwards to correct stockpile/location
- Record time of despatch and return of trucks bringing raw materials to site
- Ensure the general working of the weighbridge area, including the upkeep and cleanliness of equipment and workstations.
- Following training, undertaking a variety of site inspections (Environmental and/or Health and Safety), reporting defects and issues to the site manager

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as you will be liaising with a range of contacts and customers on the telephone and in person.
- Confidence to control the entry to site of customers, lorries and visitors
- Organised and analytical in order to successfully operate the weighbridge computer package
- Good numeracy skills are required for quick and accurate data processing.
- Previous experience in this type of role would be a distinct advantage but training will be provided for the right candidate
- Working with all members of the team to continually raise the Health, Safety and Environmental standards of the Company.
