Job Description
Note: This is a hybrid role.
Provides leadership in human resources functions including talent management, performance management, employee and leadership development, recruitment, employee and labor relations, change management, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness. Acts as a strategic partner to Operations leadership, aligning HR priorities with organizational goals.
- Collaborates with site management to enhance engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness. Facilitates development activities.
- Offers coaching and counseling to employees and management, ensuring professionalism and objectivity.
- Investigates complaints, grievances, and misconduct; manages employee relations issues; develops and implements Performance Improvement Plans.
- Fosters positive employee and labor relations environment.
- Advises on compliance with employment and labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Leads annual talent management, performance reviews, and salary processes for Operations.
- Employs change management strategies for business transformation.
- Maintains business literacy regarding financial position, culture, and market competition.
- Partners across HR functions to deliver value-added services aligned with business objectives.
- May manage collective bargaining agreements and negotiate contracts, interpreting and administering them.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field.
- At least 7 years of HR experience in a business-facing role.
- Experience with labor relations under collective bargaining agreements is a plus.
- Strong collaboration, business understanding, organizational consulting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience coaching managers on pay, performance, and employee relations.
- Knowledge of US employment law and labor relations.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback to managers.
