Job Title : Senior Civil & Structural Designer

Job Description :
As a Senior Designer, you will support the Lead Designer in delivering high-quality, coordinated civil and structural design packages within agreed timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities :

• Coordinate and model underground services in E3D, including drainage, firewater, potable water, and cable trenches.

• Produce composite drawings showing all underground services.

• Model and produce drawings for paving, access roads, haul roads, and service roads.

• Provide guidance and technical support to junior designers.

• Manage a team of designers located overseas.

• Create project-specific job notes, guides, and training materials.

• Organize design schedules and allocate resources to meet project deadlines.

• Break down project tasks and estimate resources for deliverables.

• Generate regular progress reports for tracking MTO, weights, etc.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

• Formal qualification in Civil or Structural Design.

• Minimum 10 years of industry experience.

• Proficient in E3D design software.

• Experience leading or mentoring junior designers.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.

• Office-based role.

Desired Skills :

• Experience with structural catalogues and specifications in SmartPlant 3D.

• Ability to develop structural templates and configure drawing administration in SmartPlant 3D.

• Customization experience using PML or C# is a plus.

• Experience in setting up project-specific symbols, logos, and backing sheets.
