As part of the Housekeeping team, you will ensure all guest bedrooms within the hotel are cleaned daily to the highest standards. Attention to detail and high standards are essential to meet our guests' expectations of a perfect stay.
In this role, you will interact with guests, so conversational English is essential. The ability to work independently is also required. You will play a vital role in ensuring all bedrooms are clean and tidy for our guests' arrival and stay. Flexibility is important.
You will predominantly work set shifts, usually between 9am and 3pm, five days out of seven. Start times can be flexible between 9am and 10am, and earlier start times or flexible contracts can be discussed during the interview, including weekend work.
This role requires a certain level of fitness, and full training on chemicals and equipment will be provided. Experience in a similar role is not required; a positive attitude and a desire to make a difference are essential.
We encourage internal development and progression. Hotel du Vin aims to have 100 new apprentices by year-end. Candidates may have the opportunity to enroll in our apprenticeship scheme after completing their probationary period.
