Prospero Group – Tutor/Teacher Opportunities in Cambridge

Prospero Group is currently seeking experienced Teachers/Tutors to provide 1:1 tuition to young people without a current school placement within the Cambridge area.

The Opportunity

As an experienced Tutor/Teacher, you will create, plan, and deliver tailored 1:1 lessons to help bridge educational gaps and improve attainment levels. This role is ideal for experienced teachers seeking to move away from traditional classroom settings to offer personalized and engaging lessons.

Many pupils may have been out of education for some time, resulting in low confidence levels. It is your responsibility to re-engage them with learning and reintroduce structure into their daily routines.

We will work closely with you to monitor each pupil’s progress through weekly reports, focusing on successes, challenges, and subject areas covered. You will also assess engagement levels to ensure sessions are beneficial.

  • Location: Within the community or the pupil’s home in Cambridge areas
  • Duration: Until the pupil reintegrates into a new school placement
  • Hours: Approximately 15 hours per week per student, flexible depending on family needs
