If you are a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) qualified primary teacher, you may be able to join Prospero Teaching and work on a variety of placements in different schools. It is worth noting that working as a supply teacher can be a flexible and rewarding way to work in education, as it allows you to experience teaching in a variety of different schools and settings. Due to the current challenges with staffing shortages, schools are requiring a high volume of day to day and short term supply teachers. We are looking for teachers to cover for planned and last minute absences, in a variety of different subjects. Cover work is provided to a very high standard and there is no expectation to plan lessons, mark and assess. This position is ideal if you are looking to gain more experience before applying for more permanent job opportunities. Supply teaching is a great way to get a foot in the door to work in local Schools. This position is open to experienced teachers, as well as those newly qualified.
