Are you an experienced Handyman seeking new opportunities and career progression within the sector? Our client, an established facilities maintenance company, is looking for a Handyman to join their team on a contract basis.
Role Details:
- This is a static role working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with flexible start times to suit your schedule.
What You Will Get:
- Salary up to £26,000 per annum

Requirements:
- Trade qualification (e.g., Carpentry, Plumbing) preferred
- Experience in handyman and maintenance tasks
- Basic DBS check
Day-to-Day Duties:
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of fabric structures
- Identify and repair damages to fabric installations
- Assist with installation and upgrades of fabric systems
- Select, procure, and manage fabric materials and tools
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Maintain documentation and prepare reports on fabric conditions
- Coordinate with maintenance staff and communicate with management
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules
- Train and supervise junior staff and maintenance personnel
- Apply technical expertise to solve fabric-related issues
- Perform carpentry, plumbing, painting, tiling, flooring, power washing, furniture building, IT, and cabling tasks
