About the Opportunity

The Dayforce Data Conversion Consultant actively participates with the customer and implementation team to convert customer data from a third-party vendor to Dayforce HCM specifications. The Data Consultant follows established processes (KO, receive data, field and data map, validate, test, and deliver) for each project iteration. The role involves consultative work, following all practices to ensure secure handling of customer data.

The Data Consultant provides regular project updates, identifies risks, and communicates issues to the Team Wheel Project Manager, adhering to SLA and timelines.

What you\’ll get to do

Provide Implementation Services to Customers

• Map source data to Dayforce HCM file specifications with the customer and implementation team
• Build conversion files, validate, test load, balance, and deliver within SLA
• Attend internal project meetings and update on progress
• Offer follow-up consulting and assistance in areas of expertise
• Serve as a “go-to” resource for data conversion for internal and external users

Contribute to internal Implementation initiatives

• Document solutions and contribute to a solutions repository
• Share best practices within the Practice
• Participate in SME programs by mastering at least one Dayforce HCM specification (e.g., HR Import, Elections, Pay Run History, Garnishments, Benefits)

Focus on Continuing Education

• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing; review questions and provide feedback
• Participate in Continuing Education sessions
• Complete new release training promptly; stay updated on new/enhanced functionalities

Skills and Experience we value

• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in Data Conversion within Dayforce HCM
• Experience in business process mapping
• Experience leading customer calls and meetings
• Knowledge of Dayforce Project Methodology

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with SaaS/Cloud environments, including HRIS
• Understanding of relational databases, application development, and SQL
• Knowledge of human capital management (HCM) business practices
• Excellent customer relationship skills

• Ability to lead and facilitate data conversion processes
