SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Assistant on a permanent basis to be based with one of their clients in Nottingham. The role is located in the ideal location for candidates based in Lenton, Bilborough, Wollaton and the surrounding areas. This position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career in a thriving and supportive workplace! Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing company committed to delivering excellence in engineering. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Assistant to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to our mission of providing high-quality products and services to our customers.

As the Supply Chain Assistant, you will support the day-to-day operations of the supply chain, purchasing and logistics functions. You will assist with inventory management, order processing, supplier coordination, and shipment tracking. You will work closely with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with order processing, including order entry, tracking, and status updates.
  • Adhering to company process and procedures whilst maintaining accurate data processing and administration.
  • Daily stock transfer processing.
  • Assist with the daily purchase order processing including timely goods receipt.
  • Help maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Prepare reports on supply chain performance, including inventory levels, shipping status.
  • Assist in resolving any supply chain issues or delays and escalate as needed.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in supply chain and purchasing roles.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00 AM - 5.00 PM
