We are looking for a qualified vocational teacher (PGCE/QTS/QTLS) to deliver Barista and Hospitality training to young learners aged 15-18 at HMYOI Feltham. This practical, skills-based role involves teaching young people how to make coffee, serve customers, run a small café, and build confidence for life after custody. You will help them develop transferable, employable skills in an engaging and meaningful way.

Responsibilities

  • Up to 23 teaching hours/week: 3.5 hrs AM + 2 hrs PM (Mon-Thu), 3 hrs on Fridays
  • Finish at 1 pm on Fridays
  • Include non-contact time and PPA in schedule
  • Teach in small groups, with scope for 1:1 or outreach support

You will teach skills from making a cappuccino to teamwork, customer service, and taking pride in your work. The site is secure, safe, and well-managed, with experienced support staff, an Ops Manager nearby, and a quick response system for any issues.
