As a MOS Operative, you will work on Traffic Management Schemes across various projects. Your main responsibilities include manually controlling traffic light systems on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow and monitoring site conditions. You may also assist qualified operatives to ensure efficient project execution while maintaining high Health and Safety standards. Flexibility is required due to the nature of the role. This role is suitable for individuals who enjoy or are accustomed to outdoor, physical work.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand safe working practices and procedures, including risk assessments and method statements related to traffic management.
- Carry out activities following established procedures, identify areas for improvement, and report to your line manager.
- Assist with daily vehicle checks to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance.
- Promote a positive company image through appropriate attire, attitude, and site cleanliness.
- Assist the public by directing them safely through site lines when required.
