Are you passionate about baking? We are looking for a QC Test Baker to join our QC Team. Working a 6am - 2pm and 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday Shift Pattern.
Responsibilities
- Carry out accurate and reproducible test bakes (Measure and combine ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make products).
- Test ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls.
- Analysing test bakes, writing reports, and feeding back findings, keeping written documentation of all stages.
- Support complaints/failures investigations as required carrying out test bake on finished goods, presenting back findings and next steps to line manager/internal customers via email and on Teams calls/in person.
- Building upon knowledge of scientific bakery technology.
Essential Skills
- Strong experience in practical bakery.
- Competent IT Skills.
- Experience in a fast moving Food Manufacturing Environment.
- Previous QC and Bakery experience.
