We have a great opportunity for a Transport Operations Support Clerk to join our Telford Transport team on a full-time permanent basis! This position is responsible for debriefing drivers on a daily basis alongside providing general administration support to the Transport team.
Key Duties of a Transport Operations Support Clerk:
- Correctly debriefing drivers.
- Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.
- Scanning and storing PODs using Culina's document management system.
- Preparing drivers' wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.
- Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required.
- Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.
- Downloading drivers' cards / tachographs.
- Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.
- Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets.
- Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS).
- Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads.
