Well-regarded commercial law firm in Jersey is looking to recruit a Commercial Litigation lawyer of 4 or more years’ PQE. The team is instructed by a wide range of insolvency professionals, financial institutions, fiduciary service providers, commercial entities, onshore referrers and private individuals based worldwide on a broad spectrum of litigation work. This includes trust disputes, insolvency and restructuring, commercial litigation (with emphasis on shareholder disputes and property related issues), fraud, asset recovery, regulatory enforcement and alternative dispute resolution.
The successful candidate will work as part of the team on a wide variety of litigation matters and will have responsibility for supervising some of the junior legal assistants in the team. There is also an expectation that all members of the team will work with the Partners to grow the business by assisting with the business development initiatives and marketing activities of the team.
You will be a qualified lawyer admitted in a commonwealth jurisdiction (such as England & Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa). Applications from candidates already working offshore are also welcome.
